Lost Frame provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use and disclose information through www.lostframegallery.com and any other websites, features or online services owned or controlled by Lost Frame that link to this policy (together, the “Site”), as well as information we collect offline in connection with the Site. This policy applies to information collected from its effective date; information collected under a previous policy remains subject to that policy.
By accessing or using the Site, you consent to the practices described here. Please also read our Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Site.
1. Information collection
Information you provide to us
Personal information. When you use the Site we may collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, postal and shipping address, phone number and order history (“Personal Information”). If you sign in through a third-party account (such as Shopify, Facebook or Google), we receive information from that service in line with its privacy policy, as described under Social media below.
Payment information. When you make a purchase, payment details such as card, Shop Pay, PayPal or other account information and billing address are collected by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details.
Non-identifying information. We may collect other information, such as postcodes and how you use the Site (“Non-Identifying Information”). If we combine it with Personal Information, we treat the combined information as Personal Information.
General audience. The Site is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, for example when you sign in with a third-party service or through a co-marketing partner. If we combine it with Personal Information collected through the Site, we treat it as Personal Information under this policy.
Information collected automatically
We and our service providers (including analytics and advertising partners) may automatically collect information when you use the Site, such as your browser and operating system, the page or advert that referred you, search terms, pages visited, your IP address and other device identifiers.
Technologies used
Cookies. We use session and persistent cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some parts of the Site may not work properly.
Web beacons and pixels. We may use tracking tags to understand which content works, count visitors and measure marketing.
Embedded scripts. We may use scripts to understand how the Site is used and to help prevent fraud.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Like many websites, we do not currently change our practices in response to it.
Reviews and public postings
If you post a review or comment, it may appear publicly with your name or username. Anything you share publicly is no longer protected by this policy.
Social media
If you link an account such as Facebook, Instagram, Google or Shopify, we may receive information made available by that service under your privacy settings. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.

Service providers. We work with trusted providers for hosting, payments, analytics, fraud prevention, printing and fulfilment (including our print partner, The Print Space), delivery and advertising.
Marketing partners. We may share information with selected partners whose offers may interest you. You can opt out at any time by emailing hello@lostframegallery.com.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our policies, respond to emergencies, or protect rights, property or safety.
Business transfers. If Lost Frame is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, Personal Information may be transferred.
Promotions. If you enter a competition or giveaway, we may use your information to choose and contact winners and to meet legal requirements.
4. Analytics and advertising
We work with analytics and advertising partners to understand traffic, show and measure adverts, and improve the Site. They may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies. You can learn more or opt out at networkadvertising.org and aboutads.info. Opting out reduces personalised adverts; it does not remove adverts entirely.
5. Your choices
You can update your communication preferences in your account, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. We may still send messages about your orders.
To request deletion of your account or data, email hello@lostframegallery.com. Some information may remain in backups, legal and transaction records, or public content such as reviews.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. The Site is encrypted with HTTPS, and card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card details. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
Your information may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, Canada or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Site, you consent to this.
8. Links to other sites
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Your rights (UK and EU)
Under UK and EU data protection law you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to its processing. To make a request, email hello@lostframegallery.com. We will respond within the time required by law. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
10. We do not sell your data
Lost Frame does not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers bound by confidentiality, for the purposes set out above.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. If we make material changes, we may let you know by email or on the Site.
